Animal Advice
If you find a lost or distressed animal please contact the local Mairie or SPA.

Always contact us before bringing us an animal; our head office is not manned so we will not be able to receive an animal there. We also may not have the capacity to help directly and can advise accordingly.

If you come across injured wildlife, please contact the relevant sanctuaries (listed within our Useful Contacts page)​​
Overgrown Hooves
One of the most common neglect issues reported to the Equine helpline by members of the public is overgrown hooves.
The Equine helpline will contact the Mairie of the commune where the horses are kept. With the owner of the equine and the Mairie, we are able to bring about the required outcome - trimmed feet! If this doesn't work, we involve the DDETSPP - SPA who can get the gendarmes on the case - usually to great effect !
