Bo's Story
In November 2024, we received a call from a Phoenix supporter about a kitten found by roadside.
Vets gave little Bo a poor prognosis. She was kept at the clinic for 2 days and treated for Hyperthermia, dehydration worms, herpes and coryza. She needed to be fed every 3 hrs by syringe by volunteer for over 2 weeks once home.

Tootsie's Story
Rescued from Faux in 2022, she was one of five dogs rescued from Faux. Kept in a cage 5m x5m cage for her whole life along with another dog. 4 year old Tootie had had very little close human contact, other than being fed etc.
Fearful, lacking self-confidence and trust, she was brought to a highly experienced Phoenix fosterer. There she used her own dogs as “guidance councillors”, resulting in a vast improvement over 2 years but still struggles with contact and interaction with strangers.
